Senior Project Officer

Please be informed that WWF-Vietnam is seeking for capable candidate for the position of  Senior Project Officer, BMEL project (based in Hue, Vietnam)

The Senior Project officer will be responsible for implementation of project activities in the project provinces and ensures compliance with the project document and WWF’s contractual obligations. This includes responsibilities for technical, financial and administrative aspects of the project activities on the fields, more on the component 1. He/she will also ensure close collaboration among (WWF) projects, partners, and relevant stakeholders in the project areas.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor degree in economics, agriculture, natural resources management, forestry or other relevant fields;
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in implementing projects, preferably in conservation or related field;
• Experience of working with Government officials, local communities;
• Experience in financial management and reporting; conducting studies and coordinating research activities;
• Knowledge of sustainable forest management, FSC and forest policies;
• Knowledge of M&E methodology, quality assurance is an advantage;
• Influencing, Networking & Team work skills
• Good presentation & interpersonal skills
• Proposal Development & Report writing skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English ?
