International conference about National Adaptation Plan!

According to the Plan for Implementation of the Paris Agreement, established in 2016 by Vietnam Government, the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) needs to be completed in 2019, Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment (MONRE) as the coordinating agency of Government and National Committee for Climate Change (CC) to formulate and implement the plan. On 25th Jul 2017, CCWG organized the international conference about ““Formulate and Develop the National Adaptation Plan for Vietnam based on local adaptation practices and international experiences”.

This event is funded by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung as a key donor, Southern Voice and USAID in Forest and Delta in Vietnam project with specific objectives:

- Share information from government’s side about current NAP process with CSOs,

- Present how the NAP at regional and international level can be developed and implemented from international speakers,

- Promote cooperation between CSOs and Government to respond to climate change.
