RECRUITMENT FOR DRIVER at NEIGHBORS’ FARM
Neighbors’ Farm is a social enterprise which is a foreign invested, limited company. The company is involved in wholesaling and retailing. Neighbors’ Farm pursues sustainable social and economic growth of the marginalized ethnic minority groups of Vietnam.
Neighbors’ Farm assists improve the livelihood of ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Its mission is to introduces new crops and vegetables, provides trainings and assist in harvest testing, and supports sales channels for ethnic minority farmers. Neighbors’ farm’s profit will be re-invested in the local community of Vietnam, particularly in the area of creating ne new value chains.
Neighbors’ Farm has a sister NGO called, Good Neighbors International in Vietnam, a non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors International has been operating in 35 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including about 10 million children.

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal
- Neighbors Farm: Chief Executive Officer, Sales and Production Manager, drivers.
- Good Neighbors International Social Enterprise Division: New Business Development Division
External
- Retailers: Lotte Mart, K-Market, Vinmart, Korean restaurants and etc.
- Good Neighbors International in Vietnam Community Development Project site farmers.
2. MAIN DUTIES
- In charge of driving during official business trips, visits and/or whenever required by the Country Director/ Managing Director;
- Ensuring safe and high-quality driving for the directors, managers, staff, volunteers and guests of GNV;
- Driving as scheduled, ensuring punctuality;
- Regularly updating and complying with the Law of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
- Obeying the traffic safety rules, including local driving rules as well as internal regulations and standards (if any);
- Updating the driving contents and storing the Vehicle Log Book (Road Map Notepad, Speedometer Clock Notepad) and maintaining cars;
- In charge of the maintenance and storage of the cars (the cars belonged to GNV):
- Ensure the cleanness and good working conditions of the car;
- Ensure the safety of the car;
- Ensure regular maintenance of the car; checking the oil, water, batteries, brakes, tires of the cars;
- Ensure the car is properly repaired at the car service center recommended by Neighbors Farm’s
- Repair the primary errors of the car and arranging car repairs when any problem arises; preparing some spare parts for the car (when required);
- Support in the purchase of new cars or liquidation of used cars when needed;
- Conduct registration/ registration renewal of the car; registering and buying insurance for the car on time;
- Manage papers and documents of the cars;
- Promptly reporting to a production manager if there is any problem of the car;
3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Requirements
- Must have driver’s license
- Minimum of High School education completed
- No alcohol while driving
- No smoking
- Be in good health
- Under 45 years old
Work experience
- At least 3 years of driving experience
- Accident-free experience in driving
Ability
- Drive safely and skillfully.
- Comply with traffic laws.
- Plan, organize and schedule assigned tasks.
- Basic English is preferred
Attitude
- Sociable, responsive, committed working with GNI at least 1 year
- Friendly, honestly and hard working
- Teamwork
