Project Officer (Education program – Bulgari project)

At present, Vietnam Country Office has programs in 20 out of 63 provinces in Vietnam.

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

  • Vacancy: Project Officer (Education program – Bulgari project)
  • Based in Ho Chi Minh city

Main Responsibilities:

The post holder will be designated as budget holder with main responsibility to management the project budget. The post holder will also serve as the main point of contact by our local implementing partners. 

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in community develop, social work, environment or related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an NGO environment, including experience implementing programs in related fields
  • Experience in emergency relief especially in Cash transfer program, Food securities and/or water and sanitation in emergency is desirable.
  • Good understanding of education challenges in Mekong Delta is desirable.
  • Commitment to humanitarian principles/accountability frameworks, especially for work with vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Well organized and good experience of effective budget monitoring, developing and management.
  • Good skills in communicating in English and Vietnamese.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to and understanding of SCI aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches

Desirable

  • Prior experience working with Save the Children and familiarity with organization’s policies and procedures will be an advantage.
