Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP) is a non-governmental organization working mainly in the field of public health and social science (for more information, please see at http://ccihp.org). CCIHP will implement the three-year project “Interdisciplinary rehabilitation services supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive” in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam provinces. The overall goal of project is to develop accessible, good quality and sustainable interdisciplinary rehabilitation services to support people living with disability, especially children (up to the age of 16) living with intellectual and developmental disability to thrive and reach their full potential. CCIHP is looking for a qualified person to fill in the following position: Rehabilitation Assistant.
1. Qualifications
- College’s degree or higher in rehabilitation, or bachelor’s degree in special education or university graduation and obtained a 3-month or longer training course in speech therapy, or occupational therapy, or physical therapy (certificated);
- At least 2 years of experiences in above related fields . Candidate with intervention and rehabilitation experience for children is preferred;
- Have ability of English reading comprehension;
- Have ability to use computer program well;
- Have ability to work in group and strong interpersonal, communication skills;
- Willing to travel to project sites frequently.
2. Scope of work
- Assist project officer and rehabilitation officer to make operation and finance plans for activities at the field;
- Support rehabilitation technicians and parents to intervene for disabled children; perform visiting family, response to parents;
- Participate in the development of training materials and instructional video clips on interventions and rehabilitation for children;
- Participate in supporting the organization of training and monitoring activities, periodic data collection, research, evaluation and communication events at the project field.
- Assist the project officer and accountant to complete financial documents in accordance with regulations
- Update information on website a365;
- Prepare contents and respond to user’s questions on the fan page of the program.
3. Working locations: Based in Hanoi or Da Nang and have field trips to project sites
4. Working time: Full-time, expected to start in December 2018
