National Consultant to Develop IEC Materials on Rice Cultivation with SRI

We are looking for a national consultant to perform consultancy service for:
- Vacancy: Developer for IEC Materials on Rice Cultivation with SRI
- Based in Hanoi
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop individual work plan and support to incorporate it into team work plan;
- Participate in field visit to learn about actual interventions on the ground;
- Take reference on available leaflets on rice cultivation with SRI from other projects;
- Develop and get agreement with project team and Hmong expert on outlines of the leaflet on rice cultivation with SRI;
- Provide technically concise requirements for leaflet image visualization. Such requirements should express all main points from improved technique procedures on rice cultivation with SRI;
- Develop schedule and methodology including questionnaires for collection of local feedbacks on the leaflet;
- Participate in field trip for gathering local feedbacks on the first drafts;
- Participate in province workshops for gathering local feedbacks on the second drafts;
- Support and provide comments on pictures/ draws which express the above mentioned technical requirements and design of the leaflets.
Key Competencies:
- Master degree on cropping;
- Having at least 10 years of working experience;
- Experiences on working with ethnic minority communities will be advantage;
- Experiences on development of agriculture IEC material on SRI, especially for ethic minority communities;
- Relevant experience on development and implementation of SRI intervention for ethnic minority communities;
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently;
- Ability to travel and work in mountainous area;
- Previous work in JSDF project is advantage.
