The Mekong Program is a PATH business unit composed of country teams in Vietnam and Myanmar. We also provide assistance to public health programs in Cambodia and Laos. We do not have any active projects in Thailand at this time. Our regional, multi-country approach is enabling PATH to maximize regional talent and expertise, learn and replicate in similar environments, and address public health threats such as multi-drug resistant tuberculosis and malaria that know no borders.
PATH is currently recruiting for a Social Media Executive based at PATH office, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Social Media Executive will primarily support the marketing and communications activities of Healthy Markets project, especially social media component. The Social Media Executive may also support any other Marketing and Communication activities of PATH as required. The Social Media Executive will work under the management of the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Support to coordinate Marketing and Communication activities in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and other southern provinces and cities
- Support to coordinate off-line events in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and probably in other provinces, cities
- Support to create and manage online contents for various platforms, including the website, Facebook and YouTube, and manage engagement/responses from the community.
- Support to design, develop and manage online promotions and social media ad. campaigns
- Assist with and manage the general day-to-day administrative tasks of all social media campaigns including data collection, reporting, preparing presentations…
- Represent Healthy Markets at meetings with different stakeholders in Ho Chi Minh City
- Support other activities as requested.
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Social Sciences or equivalent field
- Proven experience of performing marketing/communications/ social media activities
- One or two years of relevant experiences in developing creative social media content and effectively managing social media channels and content schedules ()
- Knowledge of HIV and LGBT issues is preferred but not a must
- Knowledge and experiences in videos production and editing is a plus
- Fluent in Vietnamese with a professional level of English (reading and writing)
