Vacancy: Consultant to Develop Training Materials to Support LGBT Students

Main Responsibilities:

The consultant will take account for developing training materials for teachers and social workers in school enabling them to practise psychological support and counselling skills for LGBT students.

Expected deliverables: Training materials designed to enable teachers and social workers to practise psychological support and counselling skills are expected to be developed that will include some contents as follows:

• Knowledge of emotion management, interpersonal communication;
• Introduction of psychological support and counselling skills that help students including LGBT students enhance mental health, induce relaxation, prevent them from suffering mental syndromes.

Key Competencies:

• Hold a at least bachelor’s degree;
• Have a professional background and more than 5-year experience in practising psychological support and counselling services training;
• Possess skills and methodology of working with teachers and social workers in school; and
• Have advanced skills in communication and report writing.
