Request for EOI: Mental Health Workshops

BACKGROUND

FHI 360 is a non-profit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a five-year, global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). EpiC Vietnam’s goal is to deliver efficient, affordable, results-based technical assistance and direct services while closing remaining gaps in Vietnam’s efforts to meet HIV epidemic control targets and address the global COVID-19 pandemic.

We are seeking a qualified vendor to help develop and facilitate a workshop to support overall mental and physical wellbeing for healthcare workers at approximately 10 sites in the greater HCMC area (Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai).

SCOPE OF WORK

The qualified vendor(s) will collaborate with FHI 360 to develop and implement workshops aimed at providing psychosocial support for healthcare workers from up to ten selected hospitals. Each workshop will be one day and cover staffs from one site. Large sites may be broken into two workshops. The workshop are for health care workers (HCWs) responding to COVID-19 with leisure/relaxation activities that focus on psychosocial for them. Each event will serve 50 to 70 individuals. 

Potential topics include:

  • Team building activities and games
  • Skill building activities in areas such as: physical exercise, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, journaling
  • Creative activities including music and crafts
  • Mental Health counseling session (by mental health experts): manage anxiety and mood, including strategies for relaxation, managing stress, and achieving more balanced thinking; emotion regulation and managing stress

The service providers are encouraged to suggest additional topics/contents for the event to meet with the purpose of the workshop.

Timetable and Address for Submission

Submission of questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] with a copy to [email protected] by 5PM 9th December 2021. All questions will be compiled and sent to all organizations submitting questions by 5PM 10th December 2021.
