Executive Director-Hagar International in Vietnam
Hagar International seeks to attract an experienced and talented individual to join our team as the Executive Director for our Vietnam office. As a member of the Hagar Group Executive team and reporting directly to the Hagar International Global CEO, the Executive Director of our Vietnam office will have the exciting opportunity to work with Hagar’s specialised global team to lead in the development and implementation of programs serving the most vulnerable populations across the country.
Hagar is an international faith based organisation with 28 years of experience working with women and children who are suffering from the impact of trauma resulting from human trafficking, slavery and abuse. Hagar International has delivers programs through Hagar offices established in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Singapore and Vietnam; and through partners in Myanmar and the Solomon Islands. We have support offices established around the world. This position is based in Hanoi, Vietnam with regular travel nationally, and will work closely with Hagar’s Global network.
We are seeking a Vietnamese national, based in Vietnam, with a history of successful strategy development, delivery and execution. They will demonstrate a sound knowledge of social policy and relevant regional and national issues.
The ideal candidate will have substantial program development, management, planning and leadership experience. They will have a proven track record of driving, motivating and developing high functioning partnerships and outcome-focussed teams. You will have well-developed analytical and decision making abilities with the capacity to exercise initiative with discretion.
