The Opportunity - Data Assistant
Support Sponsorship MIS/Database Officer in data entering, report extracting, and make sure that all the data are well-backup and consistent.
Support Sponsorship operations activities in the field, e.g. child enrolment campaign, Annual Family Update Campaign
Key Responsibilities
Data management support
- Responsible for timely entering data into the Automated Sponsorship Information System (ASISt), including child enrollment data, annual family update data, ineligibility, child photos, etc. following required standards.
- Work closely with all operations staff to ensure the data quality meet the required standards including: child and family data, child profile photo, etc.
- Weekly/bi-monthly perform downstream/upstream processing and timely inform all operations staff.
- Weekly/bi-monthly perform database backup to ensure the database server is well-backup
- Support the Database Officer to run and timely submit MMR and other related report monthly
- Support the Database Officer to conduct all tasks before, during and post AFU
- Work closely with Operations staff to well manage all the correspondences in the database and provide child/sponsor information as requested
- Support the Database Officer in liasing with SCUS ASISt/CIMP support team for technical/data management/photo quality issues.
Support Operations activities in the field
- Travel to the field to support child enrollment or annual family update campaign if needed
- Support field staff for data reporting, data extraction and preparation for meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with good IT background and data management experience;
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience of using MS office application (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- Good attention to detail;
- Have high sense of self and team development
- Be proactive and creative in all work
- Have ability to work under high pressure
- Willing to travel
- Having knowledge about Microsoft SQL server is an advantage
