I. INFORMATION

Report to : Head of Research and Project Management Department, Project Manager
II. JOB DESCRIPTION
Make plan and estimated budget for research activities on project field
Work on project field, research and collect data of flora and fauna biodiversity (priority on Primate, Artiodactyla, Perissodactyla, Carnivora)
Conduct trainings on technique, research capacity building, monitoring and biodiversity conservation for local partners
Make report on research result, field survey or technical training, scientific report
Implement tasks assigned by Director or Head of Research and Project Management Department
III. CLARIFICATION
- Education: University degree and above
- Major: Forestry, biology, nature conservation
- Experience:
At least 2 year working experience in biodiversity research in general or major on specific groups of flora and fauna.
Experience in making plans and implementing activities on project fields, working in forest, making research minutes, conducting surveys and making scientific reports.
- Relating knowledge:
Basic knowledge about biodiversity and wildlife conservation.
Basic knowledge about community and biodiversity conservation in the Central and Central Highlands
- Skill:
Good at teamwork
Work independently for a long term on project field
Familiar with biodiversity research equipment such as map, GPS device,, DSLR camera, rangefinder forestry lens, compass, QGIS software…
Prefer for candidate having B2 English certificate or above
Experience in working with local community
