With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships, and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing health challenges. Working in Vietnam since the early 1980s, PATH established a permanent office in Hanoi in 1997, and an office in Ho Chi Minh City in 2014.

PATH has been implementing the project called “Communities for Healthy Hearts Plus” (CH2P) to collaborate with the health authorities, local stakeholders (both health and non-health sectors) to design a comprehensive approach toward cardio-vascular disease risk reduction in the HCMC population, leveraging data and frontier technologies and integrated into both the primary health care system and community settings that are sustainable and scalable.

PATH is currently recruiting for the local internship based at PATH office in HCMC to support social marketing, communication activities and translation for the CH2P project.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Project Director, specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist in preparation of engaging content for various social media posts and platforms.
  • Assist in conducting market research and analyze end-users rating reports/questionnaires.
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.
  • Coordinate in designing of marketing materials (print-ad, billboard, backdrop, banner, standee, invitation letter, social network banner, etc.)
  • Translate written materials to or from English and Vietnamese, creating and formatting a new text in the target language that reproduces the content and style of the original.
  • Other tasks required by Project Director.

Brief description of required skills/experience the Intern should possess:

  • Recently graduated from or senior student at a university with major in Marketing, Business Communication, Public Relations, or relevant field is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Creative thinking, good interpersonal skill.
  • Great attention to details.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

  • Hands-on experiential learning, especially in social marketing and communications.
  • Enhanced ability to recognize his/her preferences and abilities and match them with appropriate career-related choices.

Candidates must currently have legal authorization to work in Vietnam.
