Trainer for Career Orientation Training Courses for Teachers in Lao Cai Province

Save the Children is seeking for a trainer for career orientation training courses for teachers in Lao Cai province.

1. Objectives

The consultant will be responsible for:  

• Developing training schedule and training materials for career orientation training courses  
• Facilitating 02 training courses of career orientation for core teachers in Lao Cai province  

2. Scope of work

The consultant is responsible for below tasks:

• Work closely with Sponsorship Program and Lao Cai DOET to finalize training agenda and develop training materials.
• Facilitate 02 training courses of career orientation for core teachers in Lao Cai province  
• Write Training activity report, which include recommendation key content in career orientation guidance for teacher (will develop in 2023)

Schedule for training include:  

• Policy base for career orientation in secondary school; role, responsibility of teacher  
• Information need to deliver for student
• How to conduct career orientation lesson/event in school
• Market scan, the trend of labor market

Note: schedule can change after discuss of consultant, technical advisor of SC, project officers and Lao Cai DOET
