The international workshop “Leveraging plural values of mangroves for climate change mitigation and adaptation goals” jointly organized by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) of Viet Nam and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Details as follows:

1. Time: 20 and 21 November 2023.

2. Venue: Saigon Morin Hotel, 30 Le Loi street, Phu Hoi ward, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province, Viet Nam.

3. Co-chairs: Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Resident Representative of UNDP in Viet Nam, and Vice-Chairman of People’ Committee of Thua Thien Hue province.

4. Format: Hybrid (on-site and on-line)

5. Participants:

- About 60 participants attending on-site (international delegates, representatives of the Government office and line ministries some leaders of coastal provinces of Viet Nam, representatives from embassies and international organizations in Viet Nam, experts from national and national institutions, local practitioners, and the media).

- About 100 online participants including international experts, provincial representatives, and other local institutions.
