The purpose of the project is to strengthen the industrial pollution management (IPM) capacity of selected national and provincial institutions in Vietnam. Background on the Project: The UNIDO – MPI project “SME Cluster Development” aims at assisting the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to implement SME cluster development and enterprise upgrading in three selected sectors, including export oriented ones, with a view to facilitate capacity building in industry associations as cluster development agents and for institutional twinning with Italian industry associations, and enterprise upgrading for selected enterprises in each cluster for business matching with Italian businesses.

Objective/Purpose of the Assignment: Provide administrative support to the Regional Coordination Unit (RCU) office in Hanoi
Scope of Work: - The aim of the Project is to help the 3 Governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR and Viet Nam (CLV countries) to improve Communicable Disease Control (CDC), including strengthening surveillance and response for disease outbreaks, controlling common endemic diseases, and strengthening regional coordination.
A Self Development Program for Leaders UNESCO Centre for International Education (UCIE) is pleased to announce that it will again be organising a 3-day training course on Self Managing Leadership (SML) on 25th, 26th, 27th September 2009 in Hanoi. This course will be given by an international trainer in the English language with translation into Vietnamese.
