WWF-Viet Nam: Call for Project Proposals – Species Conservation Fund (SCF)

WWF-Viet Nam, USAID Biodiversity Conservation Component- Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Conservation (VFBC) Project would like to invite non-governmental organizations, community groups, and other local organizations that are working in the field of biodiversity conservation to submit proposals from the Species Conservation Fund( SCF).

The Species Conservation Fund (SCF) is part of the USAID Biodiversity Conservation Component-VFBC Project funded by USAID, implemented by WWF-USA, in collaboration with project partners WWF-Viet Nam, ENV, Fauna & Flora Vietnam, IUCN Vietnam, Re: wild and IZW. The SCF is a joint initiative of WWF-US, WWF-Vietnam, IUCN, and Re: wild.

The objective of the activity: Ensure other domestic non-profit organizations and local civil society participate in the conservation of endangered wildlife species in 21 special-use and protection forests in the VFBC project areas.

Who can apply: This call is open to local organizations in Viet Nam. Individuals wishing to apply must work with civil society organizations to develop applications, rather than apply directly.

Opening date: 7th November, 2023

Closing date:  7th December, 2023

Deadline of submission: no later than 5:00 PM on 7th December, 2023. LOIs received after this time will be rejected.

Applicants can apply in English and/or Vietnamese, using the offline template attached to this call. Completed LoIs should be sent as an e-mail attachment to the SCF’s focal point at: [email protected]. The file name of the LoI submitted should be as follows: Abbreviation name of your organization_SCF. For example, WWF_SCF
