Towards Transparency – (TT) is a young registered Vietnamese non-profit and non-state consultancy company that was established in 2008 to advance its strong commitment to contribute to government’s efforts in promoting transparency and accountability for corruption prevention and fighting in Vietnam.
TT is the official contact point of Transparency International (TI), the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption with its Secretariat based in Berlin[1]. In this capacity, TT is supporting the implementation of the TI 4- year programme in Vietnam (“Strengthening Anti-corruption Demand from Society, Public and Private Sector”, 2009-2012) by organizing and coordinating its activities.

MAG is co-laureate of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, awarded for its work with the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), which culminated in the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty - the international agreement that bans antipersonnel land mines, sometimes referred to as the Ottawa Convention.
A three-year UNDP technical assistance (TA) project (until December 2011) entitled: “Strengthening institutional capacity for Disaster Risk Management in Viet Nam, including climate change-related disasters” was approved in September 2008 by the Government of Viet Nam. This project, supported by UNDP funding of US$4.25 million and an in-kind contribution from the Government, will be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) in collaboration with the Provincial People Committees of Binh Thuan, Can Tho and Cao Bang, the Viet Nam Red Cross (VNRC), the Hanoi Water Resources University and other universities and institutes.
