Health Policy Initiative Vietnam (HPI Vietnam) is a five-year project funded by USAID/PEPFAR and implemented by Abt Associates. Background The Woolcock Institute of Medical Research (WIMR) is a leading Australian-based research organization that conducts research into lung diseases such as tuberculosis and asthma. WIMR is undertaking a major public health research project in Vietnam, in partnership with the Vietnam National Tuberculosis Program. The project will examine the transmission of tuberculosis within households, and will be conducted throughout Vietnam. The project will run for four years.

The UN in Viet Nam seeks 01 National training Consultant or a team (consisting of 01 international consultant and 01 national consultant) to conduct HIV/AIDS training and orientation sessions for UN staff in Viet Nam.
The training is expected to commence in May 2010 and prospective trainers must be available to start the training by 15th May. The trainers not only conduct the training but also participate in producing of relevant training materials and preparation of a report to the UNCT. Detailed terms of reference are attached to this call for proposals.
MdM is seeking an expert to conduct an evaluation on its HIV/AIDS program currently being implemented in 3 outpatient clinics in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The evaluation is to obtain critical assessment of the overall performance of the medical care and treatment and social components over the last 18 months (Oct 2008-Mar 2010) on which basis improvements for future program planning, designing and management are drawn.
