ActionAid Vietnam (AAV) has cooperated with the Management Board of Supporting Programme for Development in Tra Vinh city to implement the project “Women response to disaster and climate change in Tra Vinh” from January 2019 to June 2020 funded by Forum Syd (Sweden).
The project goal is that empowered women in urban risk areas in Tra Vinh city are active in building resilient communities, claim public spaces through dialogue with decision makers and have access to improved public services related to public water supply and drainage services.

Organisation: Woolcock Institute of Medical Research in Vietnam
The Woolcock Institute is lung health research organisation, based at Sydney University, Australia (http://www.woolcock.org.au/). The Institute has operated in Vietnam since 2009, we undertake large and important operational and epidemiological and clinical research projects in collaboration with the National Tuberculosis Program in 9 Provinces, including Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City. The Woolcock also runs training in epidemiological and operational research methods for Vietnamese doctors and public health workers.
