Lux-Development, the Executing Agency for the Bilateral Co-operation Aid as financed by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, through its project VIE/035 is supporting the IFAD Tam Nong Support Project (TNSP) in Tuyen Quang province by providing complementary technical assistance to Government line agencies, district authorities and the private sector. The TNSP seeks to sustainably improve livelihoods among ethnic minority and rural poor households in Tuyen Quang province within all six districts, 64 communes with 57 000 households.
Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural development Initiative for Sustainable Landscapes (ILSA)
IPSARD is the think-tank of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development (MARD). It has mandates to do policy research, consultancy and advocacy, policy dialogue and information in agricultural sector. IPSARD works in the fields of sector policy and strategy; agricultural commodity and market; rural institution; and environment and resources management. IPSARD is now involved strongly in designing and implementing agricultural restructure program in some provinces; in promoting agricultural commodity sustainable development, especially in coffee sector.
Lux-Development, the Executing Agency for Bilateral Co-operation financed by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is assisting the Cao Bang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to implement the project VIE036 “ Irrigation Cao Bang, Wise Use of Water and Agriculture” (WUWA).
VIE/036 WUWA is in its starting up phase and has a planned duration of five years.
