ESTHER (Ensemble pour une Solidarité Thérapeutique Hospitalière en Réseau) is a French public organization involved in capacity building in care and treatment for HIV/AIDS patients in 18 countries. ESTHER hs been working in Vietnam since 2002, through hospital twinning between Vietnamese and French hospitals. The interventions are dealing with various topics, including medical and psychosocial care for HIV/AIDS patients and IDUs, HIV/tuberculosis co infection, access to viral load. Currently, ESTHER is implementing projects in 3 sites (Hanoi, Haiphong, Ho Chi Minh City) in collaboration with national and provincial health authorities.

JOB SUMMARY: The Project manager will ensure that WC’s HIV/AIDS project is coordinated and implemented in accordance with the MoU and that all activities are consistent with WCV strategy, values, policies and procedures. The PM will manage the implementation of HIV&AIDS projects (80%) and identify new opportunities/design new HIV/AIDS proposals (20%) for WC Vietnam.

The Component Trade and Marketing of Forest Products is one of three components of the Forestry Program, financed by German International Cooperation (GIZ) to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), implemented by GFA Consulting Group within the context of the Program with the first phase from Jan. 2006 – Oct. 2008, the second phase from Oct.2008 – Sep 2011 and in the third phase from Oct. 2011 until 31 March 2014. FHI 360 is an international, non-governmental organization that works with the Vietnam Ministry of Health, other ministries, provincial health services, and local non-government organizations to promote the health and well-being of the Vietnamese people, particularly vulnerable and marginalized populations. In Vietnam, FHI 360 is currently building the capacity of local organizations in HIV prevention, care & treatment, TB control; nutrition assessment, counseling, and support (NACS); maternal and child health; dengue control; behavioral and epidemiologic research methods training; clinical research in new vaccines and drugs; and laboratory strengthening.

Background: The Asian Turtle Program was established in 1998 and incorporated into the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo/Cleveland Zoological Society’s Asia regional program in 2003.

Responsibilities: - Work in close collaboration with other staff members of the Community Development Program, international experts, as well as interns/volunteers to build a solid capacity building program for marginalized populations (drug users, sex workers, people living with HIV, men who have sex with men…). - Develop sets of training materials on leadership, organizational development, management skills for community leaders of marginalized populations.
Vietnam Civil Society Partnership Platform on AIDS (VCSPA) - a coalition of civil society organizations and community groups who share the goal of greater engagement of civil society for a more effective HIV/AIDS response in Vietnam - was founded in 2007 by the Institute for Social Development Studies (ISDS) and Bright Future Network. VCSPA unites civil society organizations and groups working on HIV/AIDS, strengthens their capacity, and organizes collective advocacy efforts.
