Fleet Officer - Quang Binh Base

Working in both Quang Binh and Quang Tri province

MAG is a not-for-profit organization clearing landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and other remnants of conflict for the benefit of communities worldwide. MAG has been working in Vietnam since 1999. Due to expanded operations MAG has the requirement for a Fleet Officer to coordinate the management of a large and diverse fleet of vehicles, machines, motor bikes and other small engine equipment.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate the routine servicing and maintenance of the fleet
• Coordinate fleet movements to minimize disruption to operations
• Ensure that all registration and insurance for the fleet is compliant
• Monitor the quality of work from external mechanical suppliers.
• Be aware of MAG driving policies and procedures
• Maintain and monitor the Fleet Management database.
• Monitor fuel consumption and mileage of the fleet

Requirements:

• University/College graduate with relevant professional knowledge and skills.
• Experience with management of vehicles and small motor equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience
• Excellent organization and record keeping skills.
• Working experience in the non-profit sector and in a multi-cultural environment;
• Good communication skills, good IT skills;
• Ability to work in both Vietnamese and English languages. (Read, write and speak)
• Willingness to travel frequently between Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces

Salary will be based upon the MAG Vietnam Salary Scale.
