FHI 360 is an international non-governmental organization that works with the Vietnam Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development and other ministries, provincial health services, and local non-government organizations to promote the health and well-being of the Vietnamese population, particularly vulnerable and disenfranchised groups. In Vietnam, FHI 360 is currently building the capacity of local organizations in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment; drug treatment policies and practices; infant and young child nutrition, clinical research for the development of vaccines and drugs; non-communicable disease prevention; laboratory strengthening; and social and behavior change communication approaches to preventing the spread of zoonotic diseases.

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION: The objective of the Program Manager is to supervise and manage Anh Chi Em microfinance activities in Vietnam, which involves poverty reduction through financial and non-financial services. The Program Manager will work in direct partnership with EDM representative in Vietnam, EDM Regional Manager and with local partners in Vietnam on the tasks below.

MCNV is an international NGO based in the Netherlands that has been providing support for health and development in Vietnam since 1968. It aims to tackle marginalisation and poverty within Vietnam and the wider South East Asian region. It achieves this by working with communities and partners to bring about positive change that enables marginalised people to improve their lives and have a greater say in the decisions that affect them. MCNV’s program portfolio includes disability, HIV, public health, education and livelihood development. The programmes work with a wide range of partners, including international organisations, the Government of Vietnam and community based organisations.
