Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Supply and Delivery of Relief Kits

Founded in 1937, Plan International is a development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We strive to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world. As an independent development and humanitarian organisation, we work alongside children, young people, our supporters and partners to tackle the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children. We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood and enable children to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge. For over 80 years we have been building powerful partnerships for children, and we are active in over 75 countries.

Plan International has been working in Vietnam since 1993. Our work supports marginalized children and youth, especially adolescent girls, to start life and grow up physically and mentally healthy and as adolescents so they are leading the way to shape their own future. We create an enabling environment and empower girls to be active drivers of change in realising their rights.

The Humanitarian Assistance response to Tropical Cyclone Yagi & The Aftermath in Vietnam is a 6-month action led by World Vision Austria, with World Vision International Vietnam (WVIV) and in partnership with CARE Deutschland, CARE Vietnam (CARE VN), Plan International Belgium (PIB) and Plan International Vietnam (PIV), to provide emergency relief assistance in the three severely affected provinces of Cao Bang, Yen Bai and Ha Giang. In collaboration with provincial and district-level governments, the WV-led consortium will improve access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), enhance safe and inclusive learning for children to return to school, support vulnerable households in meeting daily subsistence and immediate needs through multi-purpose cash transfers (MPCT), and reduce post-disaster gender-based violence (GBV) risks for women, girls, and other vulnerable groups, and connect them to referral pathways in schools and communities. Across all target locations, the Action will prioritise most severely impacted people, including people displaced by the floods, flash floods, and landslides, hosts and flood returners, in the most underserved and hard to reach areas. Total expected direct beneficiaries are 12,205 people, who are 2900 girls, 2735 boys (including 239 children with disability), 3375 women and 3195 men (including 290 adults with disabilities).

Under this joint action, Plan International Vietnam is pleased to invite eligible suppliers to submit quotation for the Supply and Delivery of either or all (1) Food Assistance Packages, (2) Water and Hygiene kits and (3) Household Kits to targeted households in Hoang Su Phi and Xin Man districts, Ha Giang province.
