  Dear colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the Health in Emergency subgroup/DMWG, I would like to say 
thank you so much for those who registered the *_Covid 19 micro 
trainings._* The training will equip participants with the knowledge and 
skills necessary to strengthen and adapt their COVID-19 response plans 
and program frameworks, considering key community-based, multi-sectoral 
approaches.

The training package will be divided into three parts: /Part 1: 14-18/9 
(online and self-paced); Part 2: 21-25/9 (online and self-paced) and 
part 3: 29/9 Final session will start at 8.30 to 11: 30/ and the 
organizer will send the link for all the participants to access. if 
those not attending the course still have the opportunity to register 
within today.

Each participant needs to click the*link 
<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GS8XB3L>* by choosing open hyperlink, 
which is required to answer 8 questions to complete the register. The 
system will also send you an email to notify registration confirmation. 
After that the participant will receive a link to have access to the 
course which will start at 14 Sep.

P/s when completing all required modules of the course, the participant 
is required to email to Mr. Dang at Save the children to consolidate the 
progress of the course by 25 Sep at the latest.

On behalf of the READY initiative, Save the ChildrenVietnam warmly 
invites your organization to the *Communities in Humanitarian Settings: 
COVID-19 Micro-trainings.* Through a blend of online and remote live 
sessions, this training will equip national NGO offices with the 
knowledge and skills necessary to strengthen and adapt their COVID-19 
response plans and program frameworks, considering key community-based, 
multi-sectoral approaches.

This training package is a collection of *three blended training 
modules* that focus on the challenges related to community transmission, 
prevention and treatment of COVID-19, and complementarity and 
integration of activities among different sectors. The training will 
focus on community health programming (CHP), water sanitation and 
hygiene and infection prevention and control (WASH and IPC), as well as 
the essential cross-cutting issue of risk communication and community 
engagement (RCCE).Participants who complete all three modules and 
participate in the final live session will be awarded a certificate of 
completion by READY.

Dear all,

As discussion with chi Giao, I would like to share you the chance of 
capacity building for INGO’s staff on Community based COVID-19 response 
under Health in Emergencies sub-working group.

The learning session is developing by Save the Children with funding 
from USAID. The objective is “The participants will be prepared to adapt 
and strengthen COVID-19 response plans to meet the needs of the 
communities, and have an improved understanding of how such successful 
programs will improve their specific work in management, institutional 
care, food security, education, and elsewhere”. It combines three modules:

  * Module 1 - Risk Communication and Community Engagement
  * Module 2 - Community Health Programming during COVID-19 for NGOs
  * Module 3 – Infection Prevention and Control and WASH

The learning agenda is below tentatively. The final agenda will be sent 
to those who registered to join this later.

  * Week 1: Second week of September 2020; online learning; self-paced
    session (4-5 hours/week)
  * Week 2: Third week of September 2020; online learning; self-paced
    session (4-5 hours/week)
  * Week 3: Last week of September 2002; a 3-hour, live session via
    Zoom; discussion together with facilitators; tentative on 24
    September 2020.
