We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Vietnamese citizen
to fill the following position:
PROGRAMME SUPPORT OFFICER
Reference number: INT3261
The post is offered on a 10-month contract to cover for staff on maternity
leave, based in Hanoi.
The Role:
To support the development and implementation of Oxfam GB work in the area
of poverty monitoring, economic crisis, climate change, gender, and ethnic
minorities. With support from Programme Coordinator, take lead in the
development and implementation of new projects for Gender and Diversity
programme. Take part in policy research. Coordinate field work for
research. Represent Oxfam as requested.
Reports to: Programme Coordinator for Advocacy and Communication.
The requirements:
University degree, preferably social science, public policy, or management
Experience in project development and implementation
Experience in resource management e.g. people, finances, assets
Experience in partnership management
Good understanding of rural development, gender issues, and ethnic
minorities in Viet Nam
Strong written and spoken English and Vietnamese
Good computer skills especially for commonly used software for word
processing and spreadsheets
Able to travel to programme/project areas on a regular basis
Gross Annual Salary Range: US$ 10,000 – US$ 14,500
