                               JOB VACANCIES

World  Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the
following positions:

1.  PROJECT  ASSISTANT  –  Capacity  Building  cum  Child  Participation (1
position) working for the Area Development Programs in Kim Dong and Tien Lu
district, Hung Yen province.

Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development,
emphasizing  the  process  of  community participation, sustainability, and
integrating   activities  in  the  areas  of  food  security,  agriculture,
micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.

Main Responsibilities:
This position supports WV Vietnam to improve the quality of Leadership
Development Project under Kim Dong and Tien Lu ADP.
This position assists the Kim Dong and Tien Lu ADP Manager in designing and
developing   project   plans,  monitoring  the  implementation  of  project
activities  to  achieve  stipulated objectives; assists the ADP Manager and
Child Participation Officer in World Vision Vietnam (WVV) in increasing the
level  and  quality  of Child Participation activities through coordinating
local  Child  Participation  and  mainstreaming  Child Participation in all
projects of the ADP

Requirements:

      A University graduate, preferably in Community Development Management
      and/or have relevant work experience in this field.
      Have skills of working with community, especially children as well as
      skills of organizing, report writing, communication, and
      presentation.
      Understanding of and work experience with NGOs and research field is
      desirable. Should have good skills in training and capacity building.
      Good written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese and English
      Good computer skills.
      Be responsible, respect and wish to help children and the poor.
      Ability to work independently and work in team. Good health and
      willing to travel to project’s communes.
      Work at district level.

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT – Health (1 position) working for the Area Development
Programs in Phu Cu district, Hung Yen province.

Main Responsibilities:
-  Support WV Vietnam to improve health and nutrition status of children in
Phu Cu ADP.
-  To  assist  the  ADP  Manager  in  planning,  implementing,  monitoring,
evaluating, health / nutrition activities in Phu Cu ADP

Requirements:

      University graduate in any field, preferably in public health or
      medicine or social work.
      Have experience in public health or primary health care community
      development. Experience of working in community-based health
      development is preferred.
      Understanding of and work experience with NGOs and research field is
      desirable. Should have good skills in training and capacity building.
      Good reading and report writing skills in English
      Good computer skills (word processing, excel and power point)
      Be responsible, respect and wish to help children and the poor.
      Ability to work independently and work in team. Good health and
      willing to travel to project’s communes.
      Work at district level.

 3.  BOOKKEEPER  (01 position) working for the Area Development Programs in
Muong Cha district, Dien Bien province.

Main  Responsibilities:  The  position supports WV Vietnam to maintain high
standards   of   financial  stewardship  and  assist  the  ADP  Manager  in
maintaining  the books of accounts and other financial records of the ADP &
adhering  to  the  financial  standards of World Vision financial system to
ensure accountability.

Requirements:
   A  University/College  graduate in any field (preferably in the field of
   accounting, community development/business administration).
   Good knowledge of and work experience in accounting.
   Computer literacy, particularly use Microsoft Word and Excel.
   Written and oral communication skill in English is average.
   Good  interpersonal  skills,  especially  with  rural mountainous tribal
   children and grassroots people.
   Ability to function well in a team environment.
   Work at district

Common requirements:
      Understanding and experience about community development, Child
      Rights, and WV’s development goals is preferred.
      World  Vision  Vietnam  is  a  Christian non-government organization.
