The Steering Committee of the Vietnam National Mine Action Program is
hosting a Live Telecast entitled "Revive land, Build lives" which will
take place from 19.00 hrs on 30th October 2015 in Thua Thien Hue
Province. This is a side-line event attached to the ASEAN Defense
Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM+) Humanitarian Mine Action Expert Working
Group's Meeting, taking place from 27th to 31 October 2015 in the same
Province.
The Telecast will feature documentary films on UXO impacts, honor
collectives and individuals with substantial contributions to mine
action over the past 5 years, expanding the message of mine action
demands for assistance and cooperationetc., in addition to various
thematic cultural performances. The participants at this event include
Leaders of the State and Ministries, the NSC 504, ADMM+ HMA EWG
delegates, representatives of Embassies, International Organizations and
Non-government Organizationsand businesses.
Preparation for the final program is under way. An official invitation
will be dispatched to each delegate soon. Therefore, I am sending out
this email to inform you of the tentative agenda in advance and kindly
ask you to reserve the day (30th October 2015) on your calendar.
