Kính gửi các anh chị thành viên,

 

Ngày 22 tháng 01 năm 2013, Bộ Tài nguyên và Môi trường, Việt Nam đã có Công văn số 221/BTNMT-TCMT gửi các Bộ, ngành, địa phương và các tổ chức, cơ quan có liên quan về việc không tiêu thụ các sản phẩm động vật hoang dã (ĐVHD) nguy cấp đặc biệt là trong dịp Tết Nguyên đán Quý Tỵ để góp phần bảo tồn tài nguyên ĐVHD và đa dạng sinh học. Theo đó, Bộ Tài Nguyên và Môi trường đề nghị các Bộ, ngành và địa phương:

 

1. Chỉ đạo cán bộ, công chức, viên chức, người lao động tại đơn vị nghiêm túc chấp hành các quy định của pháp luật về bảo tồn loài ĐVHD nguy cấp, quý, hiếm; đặc biệt không mua, bán, sử dụng, tặng hay nhận quà biếu là các sản phẩm có nguồn gốc từ động vật hoang dã nguy cấp, quý hiếm;

2. Tăng cường tuyên truyền, phổ biến các văn bản quy phạm pháp luật và hành vi bị nghiêm cấm liên quan đến bảo tồn các loài ĐVHD nguy cấp, quý, hiếm tới cộng đồng địa phương;

3. Phối hợp chặt chẽ với các cơ quan chức năng tổ chức kiểm tra, kiểm soát, xử lý nghiêm các hành vi vi phạm pháp luật về bảo tồn các loài ĐVHD nguy cấp, quý, hiếm;

4. Khuyến khích các tổ chức, doanh nghiệp, cá nhân cam kết không tiêu thụ ĐVHD nguy cấp, quý, hiếm và thông báo các hành vi vi phạm tới các cơ quan chức năng.

Dear all,

 

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam has issued the Official Letter No. 221/BTNMT-TCMT dated on 22 January 2013 to relevant ministries, sectors and provinces, organizations and agencies regarding not to consume endangered wildlife products, particularly in the occasion of Traditional Tet 2013 to contribute to the conservation of wildlife and biodiversity resources. As such, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requests other ministries, sectors and provincies:

1.       To instruct their officers and employees to strictly follow laws and regulations on conservation of endangered and precious wildlife; especially not to buy, sell, use, give or take presents which are products of endangered and precious wild animals;

2.       To strengthen the communication and promulgating of legal documents as well as rasing awareness on prohibited behaviors relating to conservastion of endangered and precious wildlife to local communities;

3.       To cooperate with functional authorities in organizing inspection, control and strict punishment to violations relating to the conservation of endangered and precious wildlife;

4.       To encourage the committement of organizations, enterprises and individuals  in not consuming endangered and precious wildlife and to report violations to functional authorities.
