Technical Assistance to Business Registration Reform in Vietnam" Project (BRR) is co-funded by the Swiss Government, the Norwegian Goverment and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The project aims to provide policy and technical advice towards the achievement of nationwide business registration reform. As a result, enterprises will be able to register for business, tax code, statistics and seals through a single-point, using a consolidated form and obtain a unique enterprise ID. National capacities, as well as capacities in 63 provinces, will be developed to simplify the legal framework, processes and procedures and to set up and operate the computerized National Business Registry System (NBRS).

The overall objective of the project is to provide policy recommendations to facilitate the growth of agricultural and rural SMEs in Vietnam so as to generate more employment for rural labor, increase rural incomes and promote the competitiveness of enterprises.
