Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 6 - 31 May 2012. We would like to announce several changes amongst the key staff of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre:

May 2012 was the last month of work for our Administrator Ms. Giang Ngan Ha, who has left the centre to join her husband and family in a posting in Indonesia. As the longest serving staff member of the  VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Ms. Ngan Ha has contributed greatly to our work. We will miss her greatly and we wish her all the best!

Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 1 - 15 May 2012.

We would like to inform you that the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre will be closed on Liberation Day/Reunification Day and International Workers' Day on Monday 30 April and 1 May 2012. We will reopen on Wednesday 2 May 2012.

ChildFund Vietnam Representative Office will officially move to its new office from 2 May 2012. Telephone, facsimile numbers and email addresses remain unchanged.

Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 15 - 30  April 2012.

We would like to announce that Triangle Génération Humanitaire will withdraw from Vietnam by the end of April 2012. They have been active in Vietnam since 2001, implementing various social development projects. We would like to thank TGH for their long-term collaboration and wish them success in other countries.

Research and Technological Exchange Group  in Vietnam (GRET) has a new Representative Mr Nguyen Huu Ninh. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Ninh and expressing our gratitude to his predecessor Mr Patrice Lamballe for years of fruitful collaboration.

The Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI) closed their Representative Office in Vietnam in early March 2012. We would like to thank CECI leadership for their long-standing membership with the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre.

We hope that everybody had a nice Tet break and started a new year fully energized. Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 1 - 15 February, 2012.

There are five Working Groups meetings scheduled in February: the Ethnic Minorities Working Group on 7 February at 09:00; the Child Rights Working Group on 10 February at 13:300; the Landmines Working Group on 16 February at 14:00; the Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources Management Working Group on 17 February at 09:00; and the Disaster Management Working Group on 17 February at 14:00. All meetings will take place at the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre. Please check the 'Calendar of Events' section on our home page for the latest updates and possible changes.
