The Australian Embassy is inviting applications for the positions of Manager - Temporary Entry Visas (LE8/BB 3.1) within the Visa and Citizenship Section.
These positions are available on a full time basis, subject to the successful completion of a two month probation period from the date of commencement. The main duties of the positions are provided below.
The successful candidates for these positions are expected to demonstrate:
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Vietnamese languages
- Personal drive and ability to think creatively
- Excellent writing skills
- Demonstrated office management skills
- Experience with team leadership
- Demonstrated ability to train and develop staff
- Demonstrated ability to make lawful administrative decisions
- Understanding of work in a legislative and regulatory environment, and an ability to quickly acquire an understanding of the migration legislation and processing requirements relevant to the assessment of various visa subclasses
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, ability to priorities, meet targets, identify needs and develop procedures
- Well-rounded communication and interpersonal skills, and good understanding of client service and ability to work proactively
- Strong command of computer skills
- Personal integrity.
