Duty Station This is a Hanoi based position but requires frequent travel to the project area in Ngoc Son – Ngo Luong Nature Reserve – Tan Lac and Lac Son district, Hoa Binh, and provinces around the project area. The project will provide a free accommodation to this position in Hoa Binh province and in the Nature Reserve during the project lifespan.

The Project Document of “Environmental Remediation of Dioxin Contaminated Hotspots in Viet Nam” project was officially signed on 28 June 2010 by the Minister of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and United Nations Development Programmes (UNDP). A funding of 4,977,00US$ is from Global Environment Fund (GEF) for 4 years of project implementation, from 2010-2013. The project objective is "to minimize disruption of ecosystems and health risks for people from environmental releases of TCDD contaminated hotspots". This will contribute to the broader Goal, which is "to overcome the consequences of toxic chemicals used in the war in Vietnam".
