The Southeast Asian Water Utilities Network (SEAWUN) is a regional network of water utilities from Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. It was founded by 12 utilities and national water associations in 2002. Today it has a membership base of more than 100 utilities providing water and wastewater services in 7 countries. SEAWUN is a not-for-profit and self-governing organization which provides its members with a framework for developing their capacity and expanding their knowledge through training programs, structured learning from peers, and exchange of information and experiences.
Volunteers for Peace was established in 1982 in America as non- govermental organisation focused on culture exchange and volunteering program. Volunteers for Peace – Vietnam (VPV) has been working in Vietnam since 2005. Our mission is to provide volunteering opportunities for people from different culture as a non-formal education way to experience a new culture.

The UK Department for International Development (DFID) has a programme in Vietnam of over US$100 million from 2011-2016. It works closely with the Government of Vietnam, other development partners, and the private sector to eradicate poverty. Given Vietnam’s rapid development, the UK is phasing out its aid and will conclude the MDGs programmes in Vietnam by the end of 2013 and will then focus on wealth creation, governance and climate change. We also cover the remaining Cambodia programme from Vietnam.
DFID Vietnam is looking to appoint an MDGs Team Leader who will lead on MDG issues for DFID in Vietnam and Cambodia until the closure of MDGs programmes in December 2013.
The Asian Turtle Program (ATP) was established in 1998 and incorporated into the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo/Cleveland Zoological Society's Asia regional program in 2003. The aim of ATP is create a safe ad suitable future for Asian turtles, and to ensure that no further turtle species become extinct in the region. We implement strategic interventions that directly contribute to the conservation of Asian turtles through developing capacity, strengthening leadership and ultimately effecting positive attitudinal and behavioral change within society.
Paz Y Desarrollo (PyD) collaborates with the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province to implement a 4 year Regional Program “Social and Economic Empowerment with a Gender Perspective in Cambodia, East Timor and Vietnam” in Quang Nam province which is funded by the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation and Development (AECID). The Program’s Board of Management is under the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) which is authorized by the Provincial People’s Committee to be responsible of coordinating and implementing the Program’s activities with PyD, Women’s Union (WU), the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) of Quang Nam Province.
“Enhancing Market Access and Promoting Economic Leadership for Raglai Women in Ninh Thuan Province” project, funded by Oxfam for a period 2010-2014 has now entered the 2nd year of implementation. Its objectives are (i) raising women’s knowledge and skills in commodity production and the market-oriented approach; (ii) strengthening Raglai women’s power in economic relations through promoting cooperation of medium and small production/business groups; (iii) developing local commodity production and markets through policy advocacy and direct support to enterprises and producer groups; and (iv) promoting change in labour division between men and women in the family in order to facilitate women take part in economic activities to generate a greater family income.
