ActionAid is an international development agency whose aim is to fight poverty worldwide. Founded in the United Kingdom in 1972, for over 40 years, ActionAid works to support the poorest and most excluded people in 47 countries in Africa, Asia and the Americas in securing their rights and eradicating poverty.
The SME Development Project in Tra Vinh Province is funded by Canada (Global Affairs of Canada). The project life is from 2014 to 2020. One of the medium term outcomes of the project is to increase quantity and improve competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Tra Vinh Province. The project has 3 components which are closely related each other.

The Institute has operated in Vietnam since 2009, we undertake large and important operational and epidemiological and clinical research projects in collaboration with the National Tuberculosis Program in 9 Provinces, including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The Woolcock also runs training in epidemiological and operational research methods for Vietnamese doctors and public health workers.
