The project Technical Assistance Support for Management of Program 135-II is implemented by the State Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs (CEM) in collaboration with Niras Finland (Consultant Company) under agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Finland. The project works to improve the management of the Program for Socio-economic Development of Extremely Difficult Communes in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas (P135-II).

The project is now seeking applicants for the position of Interpreter/Secretary. The position is based in Hanoi with travel to the project’s 8 partner provinces.

Main responsibilities:
- Word processing and translation of reports and correspondence
- Interpretation of meetings, workshops and during field trips

- Liaise with key local project stakeholders
- Assist in preparing quarter and financial reports;
- Complete and store all the records pertaining to the project and its activities

Job purpose: To ensure that the project financial and accounting work operate in a smooth and economical manner, the project bidding process strictly observe UNDP and Vietnamese government rules and regulations. The incumbent also assists NPM in ensuring that the human resource management, including the implementation of policies and regulations for long-term and short-term staff (employees), comply with the Government laws and UNDP rules.
