The Australia–Asia Program to Combat Trafficking in Persons (AAPTIP) is a five-year (2013–2018) AU$50million initiative of the Australian aid program that aims to reduce the incentives and opportunities for trafficking of persons in the Association of South East Asia Nations (ASEAN) region. AAPTIP builds on the experience and established partnerships developed through a sustained development assistance engagement since 2003 and focuses on the prosecution pillar of anti-trafficking.
Pact is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Advisor based in Thailand for a USAID project named Green Invest Asia. The project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by catalyzing private finance to upscale and drive investment in the agriculture, forestry, and other land-use sector toward low-emission yet profitable business models. The project will support countries in Asia to scale-up low-emission land management best practices through development of a pipeline of investible projects and businesses in the sustainable landscapes sector, increased private sector investments into sustainable, low-emissions land management businesses, and improved capacity of sustainable landscapes stakeholders.
