Public Private Partnership in DRR in Vietnam

The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) in partnership with the development partners under the network of Joint Advocacy Network Initiative (JANI) in Viet Nam is supporting the Disaster Management Center (DMC) in promoting public private partnership with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to contribute to CBDRM activities such as public awareness, training and capacity building activities.

An important workshop on this theme will be organized  that aim below objectives:
- To help private sector understand more on Public Private Partnership for DRR in Vietnam and particularly the support to implement the CBDRM program.
- To provide guidance to private sector on how to participate in DRR initiatives.

Leadership in Strategic Health Communication

The Center for Community Health Research and Development (CCRD) is pleased to announce the fourth annual international workshop “Leadership in Strategic Health Communication”  in Vietnam, which will be conducted in Ha Long Bay from September 18 - 30, 2011.  The Vietnam workshop is a specific in-country version of the same international workshop held annually at the Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, USA.

The workshop is open to all nationalities and countries and anyone working in the field of development, communication and media with an interest in behavior change communication and will be conducted in English with Vietnamese simultaneous translation.
