The Program Officer (PO) is an integral member of the Oxfam America East Asia Regional Office (EARO) overseeing a portfolio of projects for EARO’s Farmer-Led Agriculture Innovation for Resilience (FLAIR) program. The PO is charged with the development and delivery of the Vietnam portfolio, which includes program strategizing, implementation, grant management, partnership development, M & E and project management.

Lux Development’s Project VIE/027 - Support for Health Care Policy for the Poor in Cao Bang and Bac Kan funded by Vietnam - Luxembourg Cooperation is seeking: PROVINCIAL PLANNING OFFICER The post of Provincial Planning Officer (PPO) is a senior management post within the project and will be filled by public health physicians with experience in planning and project management. One (01) position in Cao Bang province is currently open.

Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations is one of the sub-recipients of “The Global Fund supported project on HIV/AIDS”, funded by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The target of the VUSTA’s project is to reduce the HIV/AIDS related mortality and improve the quality of life of people living with and vulnerable to HIV/AIDS in 10 provinces covered by the project via strengthening capacity and promoting the participation of civil society organizations and community in the national response to HIV/AIDS in Vietnam. The project is expected to run for five years, from 2011 through 2015.
Introduction During the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in December 2009, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees described climate change as a risk multiplier and an accelerator of human mobility. Changing weather patterns, which include less predictable seasons and increasingly erratic rainfall, are one of the most important but least understood impacts of global warming. CARE International and the UN University have formed a strategic partnership to explore the differential impacts of changing weather patterns on livelihoods, food security and human mobility. Research will be conducted during mid-2011 in eight countries (Guatemala, Peru, Kenya, Ghana, India, Bangladesh, Thailand and Vietnam).
