The project "Improving quality basic education for ethnic minority children in three disadvantaged provinces in Vietnam” is a joint project of the Save the Children and implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Training (Department of the Ethnic minority education as the lead agency) in the three provinces of Yen Bai, Quang Tri and Dien Bien. The project is funded by a grant from the Japanese Social Development Fund (JSDF Grant No. TF093411), a trust fund managed by the World Bank. The total grant is USD1,809,000.

SNV is seeking a qualified and experienced team to conduct the three activities of the Focus Group Discussions (FGD) over the period of September and October 2012 alongside of the Project Manager. Results from this work will be directly used alongside of similar activities conducted in Vietnam, such as those conducted by SNV for the UN-REDD Programme1 to help inform the process for designing pro-poor benefit distribution systems (BDS) for REDD+ in Lam Dong, and more widely across Vietnam.
The FGD will be conducted in 3 formats;
1. rapid assessment of costs and benefits for landholders of undertaking REDD+ mitigation activities 2. assessment of REDD+ benefit delivery formats 3. assess preferences for payment formats using choice experiment techniques

This Mobile teams are units of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism performing the propaganda task for the state’s policies and laws to be delivered to communities.
