01 National Consulting Firm to support CEMA to do research on: A situation assessment in Vietnam of persisting poverty among its national ethnic minority groups (EMs) 2007-2012. Working also with lessons learned in earlier poverty reduction programmes, identify the obstacles that may have prevented EMs from gaining full access and benefit from these poverty reduction policies/programmes during this period. Based on the engaged research, provide appropriate and practical recommendations on poverty reduction policies/programmes to meet the particular requirements of different EM groups in Vietnam for the period 2012-2016, towards 2020.
Justice Initiatives Facilitation Fund (JIFF) is one component of The Justice Partnership Programme (JPP) funded by of the European Commission (EC), Sweden, and Denmark to support justice sector reforms in Vietnam. The JPP will address challenges in strengthening laws and policies by supporting the implementation of the Judicial Reform Strategy (JRS). JIFF is a grant-making programme designed to build the capacity of Vietnamese NGOs to contribute to awareness of rights, access to justice and judicial reforms.
The Hanoi School of Public Health (HSPH, www.hsph.edu.vn) was formally established in 2001 as the sole university in Vietnam for developing modern public health as an agent of change for protecting human health through training and research.
