Population Services International (PSI) is the world’s leading nonprofit social marketing organization, with programs in 64 countries. They are now looking for a talented, dynamic and highly motivated Vietnamese individual to contribute to our growing organization and to meet the challenging demand of the following position based in Hanoi:

Duties and responsibilities
- Provide accurate translation and interpretation services for the Ambassador and Embassy staff, including at high-level meetings;
- Undertake research for the Ambassador and other Embassy staff on trade, political, security and economic interests;
- Maintain effective communication networks with a wide range of local government, business and non-government contacts; and facilitate meetings and other contact for Embassy staff when required;
- Assist the Embassy to develop programmes for, and escort, high-level and other New Zealand visitors to Viet Nam;
- Coordinate the Embassy’s information and public affairs programme;
- Provide occasional consular and visa assistance when required.

VVAF first returned to Vietnam in 1981 when the first of many delegations arrived to engage discussions with the government of Vietnam on issues of common concern, and to begin the long slow road to healing and reconciliation.  In 1994, with the lifting of the US embargo against Vietnam, VVAF quickly established a representative office in Hanoi, and have been active in humanitarian assistance programs continuously since that time. Their involvement has grown substantially since then, and by mid 2010, VVAF have been active in 18 provinces with a variety of assistance programs.

Pathfinder International (PI) is a US-based NGO whose mission in Viet Nam is to improve reproductive health through capacity building and policy-focused initiatives that respond to the needs of the society.  To this end, PI supports efforts to strengthen pre-service and in-service training in reproductive health (RH), including core clinical reproductive health practices, youth-friendly services and HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment. In addition, PI works to strengthen reproductive health management practices and policies supportive of quality RH training and services. Since 2004, Pathfinder has directed support towards building effective partnerships in both the public and private sectors.
