"World Wide Views on Global Warming" (WWViews) is a global project initiated by the Danish Board of Technology (DBT) and The Danish Cultural Institute (DCI). The main objective of WWViews is to give a broad sample of citizens from across the world the opportunity to influence the COP15 negotiations and thereby the future of global climate policy.  The overarching purpose is to demonstrate that political decision-making process on a global scale benefit when everyday people participate.
 

VVAF first returned to Vietnam in 1981 when the first of many delegations arrived to engage discussions with the government of Vietnam on issues of common concern, and to begin the long slow road to healing and reconciliation.  In 1994, with the lifting of the US embargo against Vietnam, VVAF quickly established a representative office in Hanoi, and have been active in humanitarian assistance programs continuously since that time.

The Vietnam Integrated National Operational Programme for Avian Influenza (OPI), 2006-2010 (commonly referred to as the Green Book) was adopted by the Government of Vietnam (GoV) and its international ODA partners in June 2006. The overall objective of the OPI is to reduce the health risk to humans from avian influenza by controlling the disease at source in domestic poultry, by detecting and responding promptly to human cases, and by preparing for the medical consequences of a human pandemic.

Voluntary Service Overseas is an international development federation that manages development programmes utilising skilled and experienced specialists, who volunteer their time to work overseas. VSO specialists work with and for local organisations earning a modest living allowance, sharing their talents and expertise to support and help to build the capacity of VSO's partner organisations. They work from community to national level, in rural and urban settings.
