Project TA - 0027 (REG) : GMS Regional Communicable Diseases Control Project Source National Location of the post: Project Regional Coordination Unit, Hanoi, Vietnam
Objective/Purpose of the Assignment: Provide administrative support to the Regional Coordination Unit (RCU) office in Hanoi
Scope of Work: - The aim of the Project is to help the 3 Governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR and Viet Nam (CLV countries) to improve Communicable Disease Control (CDC), including strengthening surveillance and response for disease outbreaks, controlling common endemic diseases, and strengthening regional coordination.
1. Consultant team to carry out the pre assessment for the Active Learning Project with the specific aims of identify current teacher’s practices and key factors preventing teachers from applying ATL in classroom; provide recommendations for the project interventions to promote teachers’ ATL application in classroom; identify and Develop indicators to assess teacher’s performance with focus on ATL. These indicators will also used for measurement of project outcomes in term of teacher’s capacity and skills in ATL application ( more detail at the attached file)
The Vietnam Integrated National Operational Programme for Avian Influenza (OPI), 2006-2010 (commonly referred to as the Green Book) was adopted by the Government of Vietnam (GoV) and its international ODA partners in June 2006. The overall objective of the OPI is to reduce the health risk to humans from avian influenza by controlling the disease at source in domestic poultry, by detecting and responding promptly to human cases, and by preparing for the medical consequences of a human pandemic.
